Please review the role description and discuss with your recruiter for more details on location. 🔍 Why we're looking for you Owner is building the most effective guest ordering experience in local commerce. The Guest Online Ordering team owns the end to end guest journey across web and mobile, from menu discovery and navigation to a seamless checkout experience. Today, this team is focused on menu conversion and optimization, one of the highest leverage drivers of guest conversion and restaurant GPV, delivered consistently across web and the mobile app. As this surface area grows, the team is expected to evolve into multiple pods, creating a clear path for this role to expand into multi team leadership. We are looking for an Engineering Manager who is product driven, technically strong, and excited to lead teams building AI powered systems with real business impact across both web and mobile platforms. \n 💥 The impact you will have Lead and grow a team of Engineers focused on guest ordering and menu conversion Own execution and outcomes across conversion, quality, and performance in the guest ordering funnel Partner closely with Product, Design, and cross functional teams to deliver high impact, guest centric solutions Work alongside a strong technical partner to drive clarity, alignment, and momentum Help shape how applied machine learning and automation improve menu quality and conversion at scale Stay close to the work by unblocking engineers, reviewing designs, and contributing when helpful Build a culture of high standards, urgency, and continuous improvement 🤝 Who you’ll work with A strong technical partner and experienced engineering leadership team Product and Design leaders deeply focused on guest experience and conversion Cross functional partners across restaurant experience, data, and platform teams ✅ What we’re looking for Three or more years of experience managing or tech leading engineering teams Prior Staff level engineering experience or equivalent technical depth Strong product sense and an instinct for high leverage work Comfort operating in cross functional, dependency rich environments Interest or experience shipping ML or AI driven product systems is a plus Hands on mindset with a desire to stay technically sharp Coachable, curious, and excited to grow with the team 🏆 Pay and benefits The estimated base salary range for this role is $220K-$250K, depending on experience and location. The offer also includes a a generous pre-IPO equity package.
