Overwatch Construction Management, a leading federal and commercial construction management firm, is seeking an experienced Controller to manage our accounting and financial reporting on a part-time, remote basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with deep knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and the construction industry. Hourly Rate (1099): $65.00 to $75.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: Serve as the in-house expert for Deltek Costpoint; ensure data integrity and support system users. Manage accounts payable/receivable, time and expense, payroll, job costing, and general ledger. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (GAAP compliant). Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections. Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and other federal contracting requirements. Collaborate with leadership and project managers to track budgets and project performance. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint software. Construction industry accounting experience, including job costing and WIP reporting. Strong understanding of GAAP and federal contracting compliance. Advanced Excel skills. Must be located in and authorized to work in the United States. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Flexible, part-time remote role.
