Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Career Coach to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting up to 10 thirty-minute one-on-one Zoom coaching sessions per day with senior corporate professionals seeking to land high-level roles in big-brand corporations. Our clients are typically educated individuals with master’s degrees or higher, aged 50+ (though some in their 40s), and boasting 20+ years of experience in fields like executive leadership, C-suite, VP, operations, high-level project management, logistics, IT, or technical roles. You will guide them through personalized career strategies, interview preparation, and skill enhancement to help them transition into or advance within corporate environments. Your primary focus will be on delivering scripted, scalable coaching sessions—following structured checkpoints for Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 meetings—while adapting to diverse personality types and providing strong mentorship. This contributes to our business growth by empowering experienced professionals to achieve their next career milestone through effective, results-driven guidance. Contract Role. Base Pay $40,000–$60,000 annually (equivalent to $20–$30/hour for 20–40 hours/week, based on deliverables). Duties • Conduct up to 10 thirty-minute one-on-one Zoom coaching sessions per day with senior clients, focusing on career strategy, resume optimization, LinkedIn profile editing, interview simulations, and skill-building tailored to corporate hiring processes. • Follow scripted training modules and key checkpoints for Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 classes, ensuring consistency in our scalable model while personalizing delivery to individual client needs and personality types. • Provide mentorship and actionable feedback to help clients navigate corporate job markets, including negotiation tactics, networking strategies, and overcoming age or experience-related barriers. • Edit and refine client resumes and LinkedIn profiles during sessions (without creating from scratch), leveraging your corporate expertise to align them with executive-level standards. • Handle disgruntled or challenging clients with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues to our support team as needed for resolution. • Collaborate with our dedicated support team, who will assist with materials like resume templates and resources, to ensure seamless session delivery and client satisfaction. • Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions, client progress, and interactions in our software systems. • Provide feedback on client responses, session effectiveness, and market trends in corporate hiring to help refine our coaching approach. • Stay informed about corporate industry trends, executive recruitment practices, and competitor offerings to enhance your coaching impact. Requirements • Proven experience as a coach or trainer in learning and development, with a strong background in corporate environments—must have worked in a big-brand corporation in senior roles such as VP, executive, operations, high-level project management, logistics, IT, technical positions or similar to earn client respect and credibility. • Excellent ability to follow structured scripts and checkpoints while adapting to diverse personality types and delivering personalized mentorship in fast-paced, high-volume sessions. • Strong customer service skills, including handling disgruntled clients with empathy, professionalism, and conflict resolution expertise. • Proficiency in editing LinkedIn profiles and resumes to corporate standards, with familiarity in tools for tracking client progress and managing interactions. • Outstanding verbal communication skills in English, with clarity, confidence, and motivational energy suited for Zoom-based one-on-one coaching with educated, experienced professionals. • A background in corporate sales, business development, or executive advisory is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of corporate hiring processes, relationship-building, and client success metrics. • Ability to thrive in a supportive team environment, utilizing assistance from our support staff for materials while owning the core delivery of coaching sessions.
