JUST SOME OF OUR BENEFITS: • Solid Track Record of Promoting Team Members from Within • Tuition Reimbursement • 3 weeks of Vacation + Sick Time & Floating Holidays • Employee Assistance Programs • Professional Development • Access to Fitness Center and Pool • Free Lunch Daily on Campus • Plenty of Free Parking POSITION DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfer, mobility, and continence care while using appropriate modeling and validation techniques. • Supports the resident’s abilities by understanding that all aspects of care can be viewed as an activity. • Demonstrates knowledge of the cognitive, physical, behavioral and psychosocial approach to all aspects of dementia by using a sensitive approach to all aspects of resident care. • Demonstrates therapeutic conversation and redirection conversation with residents, offering appropriate cues for participation in engagement and dining programs. • Demonstrates knowledge of residents regarding background, participation needs, physical abilities, interests, cognitive capacity and attention span capability. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the Massachusetts State regulations OR a Certified Home Health Aid Certificate. - required • Good judgment and decision making. • Reliability includes reporting to work as scheduled and on time and completing assignments according to facility policy. • Patience, tact, and a willingness to take direction and to work as a team member.
