General summary: The Field Operations Tech Lead is responsible for overseeing the field operations team, ensuring that technical support and services are delivered effectively and efficiently at client locations. This role involves supervising and coordinating on-site technicians, providing mentorship, and ensuring that service requests are handled promptly and professionally. The Field Operations Tech Lead is a subject matter expert in troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of a variety of hardware and software systems. This position also involves managing complex or escalated technical issues, handling client communications, and overseeing the progress of work to ensure that all issues are resolved according to established standards and deadlines. The Tech Lead plays an integral role in ensuring that all on-site support is delivered effectively, and that the team adheres to best practices, operational procedures, and customer service excellence. This position may also require travel to client sites for on-the-ground troubleshooting, installations, and system maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the field operations team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of technical support and services at client locations. Supervise and coordinate on-site technicians, providing mentorship and guidance. Ensure service requests are handled promptly, professionally, and according to standards. Serve as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of various hardware and software systems. Manage complex or escalated technical issues and handle client communications. Monitor work progress to ensure resolution of issues within established standards and deadlines. Enforce best practices, operational procedures, and customer service excellence across the team. Travel to client sites as needed for on-the-ground troubleshooting, installations, and system maintenance. EDUCATION: Associates Degree Preferred CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Microsoft Workstation Windows 7 & 10 Preferred WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for all remote/hybrid positions. Must have access to stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth to support video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work-related activities.
