Role Overview: As a Senior UX Researcher at Oura, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products by deeply understanding our users' needs, behaviors, and motivations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to inform product design and strategy, ensuring that our solutions are both user-centered and impactful. What You'll Do: - You will design and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies to gather actionable insights. - You will analyze and synthesize research data to inform product decisions and improve user experience. - You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate research findings into the product development process. - You will advocate for the user by communicating research insights clearly and effectively across teams. - You will develop and maintain research methodologies and best practices within the team. - You will mentor junior researchers and contribute to building a strong research culture. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging research techniques to continuously enhance research quality. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in UX research, preferably within consumer technology or health tech sectors. - You possess strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. - You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. - You demonstrate strong communication and storytelling skills to effectively present research findings. - You are proficient with research tools such as user testing platforms, survey tools, and data analysis software. - You have a passion for understanding human behavior and improving user experiences. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with wearable technology or health-related products. - Background in psychology, human-computer interaction, or a related field. - Familiarity with agile product development environments. - Experience mentoring or leading research teams.
