Role Overview: As a Senior UX Researcher at Oura, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products by uncovering deep user insights and translating them into actionable design recommendations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of usability and user satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will design and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies to gather meaningful insights. - You will analyze user behavior and feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for product improvement. - You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate research findings into product development. - You will develop user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to communicate findings effectively. - You will advocate for the user by presenting research insights to stakeholders and influencing product decisions. - You will stay current with UX research methodologies and industry trends to continuously enhance research practices. - You will mentor junior researchers and contribute to building a strong research culture within the company. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in UX research, preferably within consumer technology or health tech sectors. - You possess strong skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, surveys, and data analysis. - You are proficient with research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or similar platforms. - You have excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex data into clear insights. - You demonstrate a user-centered mindset and a passion for improving product experiences. - You hold a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with wearable technology or health-related products. - Knowledge of statistical analysis software such as SPSS or R. - Familiarity with agile product development environments. - Experience mentoring or leading research teams.
