Role Overview: As a Senior UX Researcher at Oura, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products by deeply understanding our users' needs, behaviors, and motivations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to inform product decisions and drive user-centered design strategies that enhance engagement and satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will design and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies to gather actionable insights. - You will analyze and synthesize research data to inform product design and development. - You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate user feedback into product roadmaps. - You will advocate for the user by communicating research findings clearly and effectively across teams. - You will develop and maintain research methodologies and best practices within the organization. - You will mentor junior researchers and contribute to building a strong research culture. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging research techniques to continuously improve our research approach. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research, preferably within consumer technology or health tech sectors. - Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data analysis. - Strong analytical skills with experience using research tools such as SPSS, R, or similar. - Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present complex findings to diverse audiences. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with wearable technology or health-related products. - Background in psychology, human-computer interaction, or related fields. - Familiarity with agile development processes. - Experience mentoring or leading research teams.
