Role Overview: As a Senior Product Designer focused on mobile, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of the Oura app, ensuring it is intuitive, engaging, and impactful. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex health data into meaningful, user-friendly designs that inspire and empower our global community. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design of mobile user interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. - You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience. - You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs. - You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas effectively. - You will advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle. - You will mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team. - You will stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into your work. - You will ensure design consistency and quality across all mobile platforms. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on mobile applications. - Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. - Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in mobile UI/UX design and problem-solving. - Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - A deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and accessibility standards. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience designing for health or wellness products. - Knowledge of motion design and animation principles. - Familiarity with iOS and Android design guidelines. - Background in conducting user research or usability testing.
