Role Overview: As a Senior Product Designer for Mobile at Oura, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, engaging, and impactful mobile interfaces that enhance our users' health and wellness journeys. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design of mobile user interfaces from concept through execution, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience. - You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate user needs and business goals into innovative design solutions. - You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions. - You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas. - You will advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility standards throughout the product development process. - You will mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team. - You will stay current with mobile design trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our products. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on mobile platforms. - You possess expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite. - You have a solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies and mobile UX best practices. - You bring excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - You have experience conducting user research and usability testing. - You demonstrate a strong portfolio showcasing mobile design projects and problem-solving skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience designing for health or wellness products. - Knowledge of motion design and animation for mobile interfaces. - Familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience working in agile product development environments.
