Full Description

OtterSoft has an open contracted position. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in building modern web applications using React on the frontend and .NET on the backend. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate business needs into high-performing, scalable applications. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using React and .NET. • Build responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core and C#. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA, and backend engineers. • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews. • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack efficiently. • Ensure performance, security, and scalability in application development. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills • 5+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and REST API development. • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design. • Strong knowledge of Cosmos DB. • Strong knowledge of Azure Service Bus • Strong knowledge of Azure functions • Experience working in Agile teams with tools like Azure DevOps and Azure ADO. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT. • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, xUnit) and CI/CD pipelines. • Familiarity with role-based access control and secure coding practices. • Experience working directly with business stakeholders or in customer-facing development roles.
