Job Title: Human Resources Assistant (Remote) Location: Remote (United States) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $40,000 – $45,000 annually (based on experience) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Assistant to support day-to-day Human Resources operations and recruiting activities. This fully remote role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth HR processes, positive candidate experiences, and strong internal support for our growing teams. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable working independently, and enjoys supporting both administrative HR functions and hiring efforts. Key Responsibilities HR Operations Support • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation • Support payroll, benefits administration, and timekeeping processes • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations • Assist with updating HR procedures, templates, and internal communications • Respond to employee HR inquiries in a timely and professional manner Recruiting & Hiring Support • Post and manage job openings across multiple platforms • Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process • Assist with offer letters, background checks, and hiring documentation • Maintain applicant tracking records and hiring reports • Support recruiting initiatives and hiring campaigns as needed Qualifications • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, or Administrative support • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion • Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office • Experience with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus • Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred Skills • Prior experience supporting high-volume recruiting • Familiarity with HR compliance and documentation • Strong attention to detail and follow-through • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines What We Offer • Fully remote work environment • Competitive salary ($40K–$45K annually) • Consistent full-time schedule • Opportunity to grow within HR and recruiting functions • Supportive and collaborative team culture
