Responsibilities: As a Commercial Sales Inspector, your key duties include understanding Orkin’s products and services and selling them to diverse industries. You will make strategic recommendations to both new and existing customers to help prevent pest issues, maintain quality, and meet regulatory standards. Your role will involve problem-solving and building trusted relationships with clients, becoming an essential partner in protecting their business. You will use active listening skills to identify needs and deliver practical solutions with confidence. • Prioritize safety in all tasks. • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity with customers and colleagues. • Serve as a compassionate problem solver for commercial clients, utilizing in-depth training to recommend the best innovative solutions for each client's needs. • Achieve sales targets through proactive prospecting and follow-up on assigned leads. • Utilize marketing tools for effective new business development. • Conduct thorough inspections of customer properties; we’ll provide training for this! • Make informed recommendations to customers based on your inspections and address any inquiries, ensuring they feel secure about their pest management strategies. • Use an iPad provided by the company to prepare sales agreements and keep organized—training on this will also be provided! Physical Demands / Working Conditions: Candidates must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform job duties safely, with or without accommodations: • Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight limit. • Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, and rooftops, which may involve climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator. • Flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
