Full Description

Join a nationally recognized, employee-owned organization supporting mission-critical power systems across data centers and industrial facilities. As a Power Services Technician, you’ll work hands-on with UPS systems, generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), switchgear, and power distribution equipment. This role supports field service, preventive/corrective maintenance, and commissioning activities. What You’ll Do • Assist with load bank testing on UPS systems, generators, and power equipment • Support corrective maintenance on switchgear and ATS systems • Construct and modify control panels, wiring, and electrical components • Operate and maintain Vertiv/Liebert UPS systems (current and legacy models) • Use power quality meters, thermographic cameras, and reporting software • Ensure workmanship meets OEM, NEC, UL508A, and NFPA 70E standards • Interface with customers, contractors, engineers, and internal teams • Complete accurate documentation, service reports, and time entries What You Bring • Technical certificate or equivalent experience in electrical/electronics • 2+ years of experience in power service, electrical maintenance, or field service • Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and safety • Strong customer service skills • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel • Valid driver’s license Nice to Have • Experience with Vertiv/Liebert UPS systems • Experience with generators and ATS equipment • Background in data centers, industrial electrical work, or mission-critical systems Why Join • ESOP (company-funded retirement) • 401(k)/Roth with match • Medical, Dental, Vision • PTO, Paid Holidays, Volunteer PTO • Short- & Long-Term Disability (company-paid) • Tuition reimbursement • Career growth in mission-critical power systems
