General Summary The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, managing and profitably growing our existing base business with a defined list of chain accounts such as (Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Target, BJ’s , CVS, Walgreens etc.), as well as securing new business with defined new accounts. Customer responsibilities will likely include a cross section of both strategic and transactional business. Leading in collaboration with marketing and effectively managing cross functional resources (marketing, product development, supply chain, and insights) is critical for success. The Sales Manager must be able to think and lead strategically, both internally and externally, linking strategies between organizations and influencing all parties/functions on joint initiatives to deliver business objectives. Principal Accountabilities 1. Think and lead strategically, in collaboration with marketing and cross functional team, to link internal and external strategies, and influence all parties on initiatives needed to deliver joint business objectives 2. Prioritize, aggressively pursue and secure new scaled business with new customers, to deliver AOP objectives 3.
