The company’s first product, the OrganOx metra® normothermic machine perfusion (NMP) system for liver transplantation, has been used to support more than 5,000 liver transplant operations globally. Position Summary The position of Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating the activity of US Operations to satisfy customer requirements and OrganOx Inc. operational needs. Listed below are the key responsibilities of the role and a brief description of some of the key tasks to be performed. This list is not totally inclusive and the job holder will be expected to complete tasks reasonably requested by the Senior Manager, Operations. This is a flexible, on-site role in our Madison, NJ office. Major Responsibilities Under direction from the Senior Manager, Operations, the Operations Manager will be responsible for: · Manage the distribution and storage of OrganOx sub-components, spares, tooling and finished goods using approved distribution and warehousing partners. · Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities throughout the supply chain to improve Quality/Delivery/Customer Service/Cost. · Manage daily operations and logistics in the US to meet business objectives. · Support the Senior Manager, Operations in developing, implementing and monitoring KPIs to drive operational performance, cost efficiency and quality standards. · Develop, implement, and maintain policies and processes to maintain inventory accuracy, adequate safety stock, and inventory records compliance. · Provide regular structured communication to Senior Manager, Operations on operational performance in the US Region. · Manage and monitor the performance of logistics partners using Business Continuity Planning, identify and mitigate risks and issues in the supply chain. · Using formal mapping techniques, define the existing distribution network and identify updates to the network based on the business growth plan defined in the S&OP process. · Cultivating a high-performance culture. Promote cross-functional collaboration and create opportunities for professional development within the team. · This role may require travel up to 10% travel. Skills & Experience · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written, with a proven track record of business negotiation and report writing. · Ability to manage others to help them excel in their roles, realize their potential, and develop their careers. · Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment, able to differentiate and prioritize between multiple competing objectives without losing sight of the long-term strategic aims of the company. · Ability to adopt a flexible approach on a day-to-day basis and willingness to perform tasks outside of core job description. · Demonstrable ability to identify and solve problems and justify implementation of improvements through cost-benefit analysis to business performance and cost-basis. · Proven track record of logistics, operations and supply chain management roles. · Detailed understanding of ERP. · Ability to produce Technical Reports to a high standard in terms of technical content, presentation and written English. · High competence in data manipulation in spreadsheet software with the ability to generate and convert data within flat and pivot datasets. · Ability to work effectively with suppliers. · Ability to work across a wide range of projects simultaneously. - Adhere to the letter and spirit of OrganOx’s Code of Conduct and all other company policies. Qualifications · Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field · Working hours will be spent in the stockroom, organizing inventory and coordinating shipments; Standard 40-hour work week applies. · A minimum of 7 years’ experience in inventory, supply chain or logistics · Good working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems required. · 1+ years of managing direct reports strongly preferred. · Experience in the medical device industry preferred. · Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and globally. · Flexibility to work after hours, as needed. · Good working knowledge of standard office and project management software. #LI-Hybrid A job description does not imply that the duties stated are the only ones to be performed by the job holder. The Pay Range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 annually, with a 20% target annual bonus and benefits.
