Description Position: Program Manager Location: Arlington, VA Clearance: Active Secret We are seeking a Program Manager with an active Secret Clearance to respond to DSCU guidance within 12 hours, ensuring timely and accurate logistics information. This role involves leading contractors and subcontractors in government programs per established procedures, laws, and requirements. The Program Manager provides leadership, coordination, and advice to senior officials to develop and implement programs aligning with local, state, and federal objectives. Responsibilities include managing programs, policies, and procedures, leading a team to deliver compliant government programs, and effectively managing assigned programs. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Process all travel vouchers (DTS) within five days of travel completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with travel regulations. Assist the DSCU Executive leadership with research assistance, document drafting, and representing them at meetings, as directed by the Executive Leadership Team. Support the cataloging, review, and analysis of existing policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the University. Take a leading role in compiling a consolidated, uniform list and identifying key gaps in policy coverage. Assure uniform application of all operating policies and procedures, coordinate related responsibilities, and resolve problems encountered in day-to-day operations, as directed by the Executive Leadership Team. Drive improvements in file management and document disposition practices in coordination with DSCU stakeholders, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and promoting organizational efficiency. Participate in special projects when required, providing project management assistance as directed by the DSCU Leadership Team. Track the status of all lines of effort, maintain the relevant documentation, and provide regular updates to the Leadership Team. Support the cataloging, review, and analysis of existing policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as primary lead in compiling consolidated, uniform list and identifying key gaps. Implementation uniform application of all operating policies and procedures, coordination of related responsibilities and resolution of problems encountered in day-today operations. Participation and Primary point of contact with Facilities Management and Security regarding on-going DSCU initiatives and projects. Main NCR POC for new hire onboarding. Updating file management and document disposition in coordination with DSCU stakeholders. Assists Chief of Staff, DSCU with meeting planning and preparation. Supports executive long range calendar planning and execution. Participate in special projects related to DSCU. Track the status of all lines of efforts; maintain the relevant documentation. Responds to guidance from leadership within 12 hours. Assists in coordinating travel for the DSCU leadership for various types of itineraries, visas/passports, required clearances. Assist the DSCU leadership with research assistance, document drafting, and be present at meetings. Primary Point of Contact for NCR contractor personnel. Main liaison regarding contractors’ support. Ensure that contractors produce timely and quality deliverables. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, as demonstrated in their resume. Must have a high attention to detail and quality control Proficiency in MS applications Highly articulate in speech and written form of communication. Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision in a highly visible and high operational tempo organization. Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires you to have an active Secret Clearance. A government background investigation will be conducted on selected applicants to determine whether they qualify for access to classified information. Compensation: The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data.
