The Senior UI/UX Developer will leverage expert knowledge of design principles and front-end development best practices to deliver engaging user experiences. Compensation Pay Range: $84,400.00 - $126,600.00 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. A UI/UX Developer will leverage expert knowledge of design principles, usability standards, and front-end development best practices to deliver intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences. This position will work independently and collaboratively with product owners, designers, and engineers to ensure digital solutions align with business needs while delighting customers. UI/UX Developers will focus on crafting consistent user interfaces and experiences across platforms while contributing to the standards and practices of the development life cycle. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintain a strong working knowledge of emerging UI/UX design trends, accessibility standards, and front-end technologies. Translate wireframes, mockups, and user requirements into responsive, interactive, and visually appealing applications. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX solutions. Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and accessibility reviews to validate designs and enhance user experiences. Implement responsive design principles to support consistent experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Develop reusable UI components and design systems to improve scalability and maintainability. Create and maintain documentation, design libraries, and coding standards for front-end development and UX practices. Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable front-end code. Debug and resolve UI/UX-related defects, ensuring performance and usability are optimized. Conduct design and requirements workshops to gather insights and feedback from stakeholders. Deliver UI/UX demos and presentations to educate cross-functional teams on design intent and implementation. Work within Agile/Scrum environments, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Provide recommendations for UI/UX improvements, balancing creativity with technical feasibility. Ensure compliance with WCAG/ADA accessibility standards and company brand guidelines. All other duties as assigned. SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES Required: Ability to establish the value and cost of an IT project Advanced understanding of change management and the O’Reilly change control process and procedures Advanced knowledge of Project Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Solid understanding of secure coding techniques and best practices Strong ability to articulate advanced technical concepts, write technical documentation, and teach others Expert knowledge in software debugging and testing, complex computer systems (multiple programs, databases, communications etc), and analysis and design. Expert problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to lead and get results from others Must be able to learn independently but also work well in a team environment Flexible scheduling availability including nights and weekends.
