5+ years as Product Owner or similar in B2B, strong Agile and product management experience, excellent communication, and experience with SaaS and API integrations.
Compensation Pay Range: $110,000.00 - $165,000.00 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. A B2B Product Owner will leverage business and technical expertise to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions that enable O’Reilly’s B2B platforms and partner integrations. This role will serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring that business requirements are translated into clear product roadmaps and executable deliverables. The B2B Product Owner will work with engineering, operations, sales, and external partners to drive adoption, efficiency, and value in O’Reilly’s B2B solutions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Defines and owns the product vision and roadmap for B2B platforms, integrations, and services. Translates business requirements, partner needs, and customer feedback into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Prioritizes and manages the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer expectations. Partners with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet performance, scalability, and compliance standards. Collaborates with sales, account management, and marketing teams to support customer onboarding, adoption, and retention initiatives. Acts as subject matter expert for B2B capabilities, educating internal teams and external partners on platform features and processes. Defines and monitors KPIs and success metrics to measure product performance and customer impact. Facilitates regular sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities to align cross-functional teams. Serves as a primary contact for external partners, ensuring integration needs and technical requirements are understood and prioritized. Leads post-release evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives based on data, feedback, and market trends. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a B2B or enterprise environment. Strong understanding of product management frameworks, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycles. Proven success managing API-driven integrations, SaaS platforms, or enterprise applications. Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language. Strong analytical skills, including experience with product metrics, KPIs, and data-driven decision making. Ability to manage competing priorities, work cross-functionally, and lead without direct authority. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in retail, supply chain, or B2B commerce environments. Familiarity with ERP, OMS, or CRM systems and their integrations. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.
