Our mission, in partnership with the Department of Corrections (DOC), is to promote public safety by providing AICs with work and training opportunities in a self-sustaining organization. Description Oregon Corrections Enterprises (OCE) is seeking a full-time Sales and Marketing Production Manager, located at our Administration Office in Salem, Oregon. The Production Manager, Sales and Marketing, leads the design and development of modern, functional furniture solutions informed by customer needs and market trends. This role supervises the Sales and Marketing team, manages schedules and time-off, and ensures consistent use of CRM tools and performance metrics. The position also standardizes product lines across key categories, collaborates with manufacturing and purchasing teams, and provides strategic direction for marketing materials and event participation. Additionally, the manager facilitates communication with agency partners, procurement professionals, and customer representatives to align expectations and strengthen long-term relationships. This position offers a competitive compensation package including employer paid health, vision, dental, paid time off, and retirement through the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), and 11 paid holidays per year. Desired Knowledge And Skills • Experience designing modern, functional furniture informed by customer needs, market trends, and stakeholder input • Ability to develop detailed drawings, specifications, and prototypes for manufacturing readiness • Knowledge of standardizing product lines across categories (e.g., seating, office, dorm, lounge, systems furniture) • Familiarity with sourcing, material selection, and catalog accuracy in collaboration with manufacturing and purchasing • Experience supervising and managing staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance feedback • Proficiency in using and maintaining CRM systems and analyzing sales data for KPIs • Ability to guide the development of marketing materials (catalogs, presentations, digital content) • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including facilitating meetings and gathering feedback • Experience coordinating and representing an organization at conferences, trade shows, and industry events • Skills in coaching, mentoring, and supporting professional development of team members • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Commitment to safe work practices and modeling appropriate behavior for staff and AIC workers Working Conditions • May be required to work some late and unusual hours, including some weekends • Requires willingness to travel in or out of state, including some overnight trips • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time • Ability to climb stairs without assistive aids • Travel throughout the institution(s) will be required on a regular basis Minimum Qualifications • Five (5) years of management experience in a public or private organization, including responsibility for operational performance, program development and evaluation, policy implementation, goal setting, and budget preparation. OR • Two (2) years of such management experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering/Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
