Full Description

Manages the implementation and compliance of Agency policies, systems, and procedures in the Head Start program areas of Education, Mental Health, and Disabilities. Main Job Duties – Education Supervisor • Oversee and ensure compliance across Education, Mental Health, and Disabilities services in alignment with Head Start Performance Standards and OCDC policies. • Lead implementation of agency-adopted curriculum and ensure developmentally and culturally appropriate classroom environments. • Supervise, coach, and evaluate education, mental health, and disabilities staff; support professional growth and performance. • Monitor classrooms, lesson plans, and child files to drive continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance. • Coordinate referrals, screenings, and individualized service plans (IFSP/IEP) in partnership with families and local agencies. • Ensure at least 10% of enrollment includes children with disabilities and that services are timely and well-documented. • Plan and deliver training and technical assistance for children’s services staff. • Manage reporting, documentation, and data accuracy; submit required monthly and program reports. • Collaborate with Program Directors, county teams, school districts, and community partners to support transitions and integrated services. • Maintain strong communication with staff, families, and partners while serving as an advocate for children and families.
