Purpose and Scope: The Communications Senior Associate will play a key role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the Corporate Communications department by developing and optimizing both external and internal materials, with a particular focus on social, digital, and creative design content. This individual will be responsible for the planning, logistics, and tactical execution of social media, website, and video-based content initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a solid foundation in healthcare or life sciences communications. This hybrid role, based in the New York City office, offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated communicator to expand their skill set, produce high-quality content, and gain direct exposure to senior executives, including the CEO, COO, CFO, and other members of the leadership team. Key Responsibilities – Including but not limited to: • Create and edit short-form video content for corporate social media, websites, and presentations, ranging from executive messages and product features to event highlights and storytelling campaigns. • Design and develop social media graphics and digital assets that elevate the company’s online presence and align with brand standards. • Draft, edit, and publish external digital communications collateral, including social posts, blogs, YouTube videos, and website updates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery. • Collaborate with the PR agency to develop monthly social media content calendars, source visuals, craft post copy, schedule approved content and monitor engagement. • Drive highly creative PowerPoint design for external and internal corporate presentations. • Maintain and enhance the company website to ensure functionality, up-to-date information, and a strong visual representation of the brand. • Support digital storytelling on the company intranet, ensuring it remains an engaging, informative hub for employees. • Collaborate with operations in planning and logistics for company-wide events such as Leadership Meetings and Town Halls, including content creation and on-site production support. • Maintain communications department trackers to ensure smooth coordination across ongoing projects and deliverables. • Coordinate merchandise, executive gifts, and other branded collateral in collaboration with Operations and Communications leadership. Qualifications – Education, Experience & Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred (science background a plus). • 2+ years in a corporate agency or communications role. Healthcare or life sciences communications experience required, agency experience strongly preferred. • Demonstrated experience in video content creation and post-production (shooting, editing and packaging for digital platforms). • Exceptional design skills in PowerPoint and Canva; Adobe Creative Suite proficiency a strong plus. • Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor messaging for diverse professional audiences. • Highly organized with excellent planning, project management and attention to detail. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media management tools. • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and proactively solve problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Collaborative, professional and comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels, including senior executives. • Positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for creative, high-quality communications.
