What You’ll Contribute to OHM Advisors OHM Advisors’ Environmental & Water Resource Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Hydraulic Modeling Engineer with a strong background in drinking water distribution systems to join our growing team. As a Senior Hydraulic Modeling Engineer, you will directly contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on water distribution systems. This opportunity involves working with a growing team of hydraulic modelers on a variety of projects locally, regionally, and nationwide. Your Responsibilities: • Mentor and lead the development and calibration of hydraulic models for water distribution systems and analyze model results to develop recommendations for our clients • Lead master planning and capital improvement plan development • Mentor and lead booster station analyses for water systems to assess capacity, reliability, and energy efficiency • Develop future water demand projections • Design and deliver digital tools and dashboards • Prepare clear, concise technical reports and presentations • Fieldwork and site visits from design through construction may be required • Analyze and process large amounts of complex data Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience • Strong interest in hydraulic modeling and water industry • Knowledge of hydraulic principles and analyses, as well as experience with or a strong desire to learn hydraulic modeling software • Excellent communication skills • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program • PE preferred • Experience with InfoWater, WaterGEMS, or EPANET Benefit Summary At OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
