In short, we help our customers know more, know better, and do better. Privateer is a leader in Earth intelligence and AI, integrating data from sea to space and everything in between to sculpt information into answers. Its advanced, user-centric geospatial analytics platform enables organizations to understand the present, anticipate the future, and make better decisions in the face of complex challenges. Co-founded by Apple pioneer Steve Wozniak, the company is committed to unlocking the valuable insights that will help problem-solvers address the world's toughest challenges and drive shared, sustainable use of our resources – on Earth and beyond. Skills and Traits of Competitive Candidates You will use your product management skills to turn geospatial analytics prototypes into robust, enterprise-ready software. You are disciplined, detail-oriented, and empathetic, driving product feature development priorities for the Engineering team at standups and sprint planning sessions. You are comfortable with ambiguity, knowing that your strength is to provide direction even when there are no clear answers. You navigate conflicting priorities with ease, collaborating across teams to find solutions. While you may or may not have experience in the geospatial data analytics industry, at heart you are a data nerd, and believe in the power of a beautiful visualization to change how someone thinks about the world around them. Remote Position with up to 20 % Travel WHAT YOU'LL DO Take company objectives, user feedback, and platform metrics into account to organize the roadmap, drive system designs, and prioritize product features Work with engineering to scope technical delivery on features through documenting requirements in Gitlab, running sprint planning, and standups.
