Job Description Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's (OCI) architecture development engineering team as a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Principal Technical Program Manager. In this impactful role, you will lead GPU Platform and Infrastructure projects, aligning priorities across teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving comprehensive execution of innovative products in the world of AI and GPU data centers. You will engage with GPU infrastructure, Data Center optimization, and other aspects of distributed computing and highly available cloud services. This position demands close collaboration with multi-functional teams, including vendors and partners, to provision, deploy, configure, and maintain GPU servers. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting customers with AI/ML workloads and cloud-scale applications, bridging hardware, networking, and software operations. Your responsibilities include defining project scopes, managing schedules for timely delivery of project value, leading project status meetings, preparing progress reports, mitigating risks, and ensuring smooth execution of projects as the central on-site leader in our datacenters. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong business acumen, and a proven record of effective collaboration with hybrid teams. You should be a proactive technical leader, comfortable tackling both strategic and tactical challenges, and enthusiastic about new project opportunities. Job Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise in GPU Infrastructure and data center design and operations, including power, cooling, hardware management, cabling, and networking. • Strong communication skills with experience interacting with business and engineering staff at all levels, including executives. • Experience leading technical design discussions, able to present complex trade-offs and options clearly. • Act as the primary floor manager for all data center activities. • Collaborate with datacenter operations to efficiently manage issues and resolve blockers. • Represent engineering perspectives effectively to partner organizations and senior leadership. • Aptitude for engaging diverse individuals and teams across various geographies and cultures. • Thrive in innovative, fast-paced environments and navigate ambiguity and competing priorities successfully. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, technology management, business management, or a related field. • 3+ years in datacenter/infrastructure development. • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a technical program manager in related industries. • Advanced knowledge of product development life cycles and experience in launching customer-facing cloud services. • Proven ability to communicate findings and progress effectively to diverse teams, senior leadership, and technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Self-motivated problem solver, adaptable to dynamic, customer-focused environments. Preferred Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in program/project management or product design. • Relevant technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. • Experience with large-scale datacenter operations. • Familiarity with provisioning and deploying GPU servers, including installation, cabling, firmware updates, and OS/hypervisor configuration. • Strong understanding of GPU infrastructure services and knowledge of cloud offerings such as Compute, Storage, Identity, and Networking. • Familiarity with OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS services.
