They are seeking an Undergrad Software Engineer Intern to manage software development tasks and support a product development team in creating enterprise-class software applications. Responsibilities • You will apply your knowledge of software development to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing enterprise-class software applications • Working within a highly successful product development team within an agile, iterative process, you will support, debug, and provide solutions, engage in programs and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues and recommend and evolve suitable solution approaches to address the challenges in a time-sensitive fashion • This role is for you if you love solving enterprise-grade cloud services problems • You must be a firm believer in solving sophisticated problems by writing code Skills • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2025-2026 school year • Must be enrolled in a university prior to and following internship completion • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. For clarity purposes, this means that Oracle is not in a position now, or in the future, to offer US immigration sponsorship. This includes, but is not limited to, support of CPT, H-1B, TN, O-1, green card or F-1 training plans/evaluations • Have completed at least your sophomore year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2026 • Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2026 • Are proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in Java AND • Are proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in one or more of these additional programming languages: Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, Scala • Have demonstrated experience (projects, internships, coursework, research) with one or more of the following: Android and/or iOS mobile application development, Unix and/or Linux Operating Systems, Big Data tools/frameworks (e.g. Spark, Hive, Hadoop, MapReduce, Kafka) • Have completed coursework, projects, internships, and or research in 3 or more of the following: Algorithms and Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Database, Machine Learning, Object-Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, Software Programming, Web Development, Micro-Services Architecture, Container Architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), User Interface Design, Experience with XML, JSON, node.js, javascript, REST APIs • Have completed at least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience working with the relevant technical areas noted above • Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US • Minimum 3.0 GPA Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including expert medical opinion • Short term disability and long term disability • Life insurance and AD&D • Supplemental life insurance (Employee/Spouse/Child) • Health care and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts • Pre-tax commuter and parking benefits • 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan with company match • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
