Own and drive outcomes on high priority technical programs related to server hardware and cloud, managing schedules and progress towards metric-driven goals.
Basic understanding of GPUs, server hardware, cloud technology, ability to analyze technical information, drive delivery, unblock execution, and communicate status effectively.
OCI Compute is looking for a technical program manager with a background or basic understanding of server (CPU and GPU) hardware, cloud, and server technology who can own and drive outcomes on dedicated areas of high priority programs with large business impact. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of GPUs, testing software and hardware. The ability to think about how a problem can have larger business impact on key deliverables, analyze and process technical information, and put together programs and schedules to drive progress towards metric driven goals across individual teams and workstreams. An interest in supply chain, data center capacity, and software/hardware at scale is a must. Our Technical Program Manager (TPM) is required to understand the business, technical requirements, devise strategies for fixing key issues, identify technical issues as they relate to business requirements, assist in driving delivery, unblock execution, effectively communicate status where appropriate, problem solve and suggest changes to hardware assembly, manufacturing and validation processes, and share project information with stakeholders. This particular role is in Houston, with preference given to candidates in Houston or willing to relocate.
