The CDA Team: Within our division, the Clinical Digital Assistant (CDA) team is leading this transformation. We are building a next-generation platform for healthcare applications, leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's (OCI) cloud-native AI, machine learning, and data technologies. Our platform introduces cutting-edge features-including conversational search, voice-assisted applications, summarization, semantic search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)-to redefine the healthcare experience for patients and clinicians alike. The Role: As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing the CDA data platform. Your primary focus will be the development of a healthcare-focused Semantic Knowledge Graph, empowering our AI agents with deep contextual understanding tailored to specific healthcare use cases. Responsibilities Qualifications: BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent 10+ years of relevant software development experience Demonstrated proficiency in Java, Python or similar object-oriented languages for backend development Strong Software Engineering fundamentals, proficiency in data structures & algorithms, Restful services & Microservice architecture Hands on experience building cloud native services on cloud platforms like OCI, Azure, Google Cloud Platform. Data architecture and design patterns including experience with database design, data modeling, data analytics, metadata management and data-access controls Experience with Oracle Database & Search technologies like Opensearch Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices. Proven ability to design architectures and help a large team implement it. Experience with graph database technologies and leveraging technologies to enable AI Agent use cases via Graph RAG, MCP servers, etc... Experience with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) Able to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing (technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams and presentations) Technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers Qualifications Disclaimer: Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
