A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel - Benefits to provide legal guidance on employee benefit plans and programs. Key Responsibilities • Advise internal teams on the design, administration, and compliance of U.S. employee benefit plans • Provide legal advice on employee leaves of absence and ensure compliance with applicable laws • Monitor legislative developments affecting employee benefits and recommend appropriate actions Required Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school • Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar • Minimum 8 years of experience as an attorney, primarily in employee benefits • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefit and leave laws, including ERISA and ADA • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
