What You'll Do As part of your role, you will: • Lead virtual teams that are instrumental in the design and execution of processes, ensuring project completion on schedule. • Support field organizations in helping customers deploy Oracle products effectively. • Engage actively in the Oracle Architecture Community, sharing and utilizing reference architectures. • Dedicate time to continuous learning about new technologies and Oracle products. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will be key as we strive to become the foremost cloud company globally. Responsibilities Key aspects of this role include: • Understanding complex systems and mapping them to cloud architectures. • A solid grasp of cloud architecture and hybrid on-premises/cloud designs. • In-depth architectural knowledge of cloud solutions covering networking, security, and resilience. • Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging various stakeholders. • Strong collaboration abilities to build virtual teams focused on delivering outstanding architecture solutions. • Experience influencing senior leaders is advantageous. A robust understanding of Snowflake and Databricks from both technical and business perspectives is essential. Moreover, the following technical skills will enhance your candidacy: • Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems and the industry. • Experience in defining best practices, especially within a cloud context. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to abstract complex issues. • Familiarity with Oracle database concepts and technologies. • Expertise in architecting high-availability solutions with Oracle Database and related technologies. • Proficiency in upgrading and migrating complex multi-tier systems. • Experience in building disaster recovery and failover capabilities, including multi-cloud deployments. • Hands-on cloud deployment experience, preferably with Oracle OCI. • Basic programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Java, Python) along with SQL and PL/SQL knowledge. We seek an acknowledged expert within your field, capable of providing leadership and strategic direction for new initiatives. Applicants should possess: • A BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area. • At least 12 years of software engineering or related experience.
