Technical Lead – Digital Transformation | Remote or Hybrid in (Dearborn, MI Preferred; Charlotte, NC or Tampa, FL considered) | Contract-to-Hire | W2 Only There is no visa sponsorship or C2C options available for this position. Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise organization in the insurance, automative services, and financial service industries, is seeking a Technical Lead – Digital Transformation to support a high-visibility, multi-year Digital & AI modernization initiative. This is a hands-on leadership role driving architecture, full-stack development, cloud strategy, and AI enablement across web and mobile platforms. You’ll collaborate with enterprise engineering teams and system integration partners to build next-generation digital and AI-powered member experiences. What You’ll Do: • Lead architecture and end-to-end technical delivery. • Drive personalization strategy leveraging Adobe Experience Cloud. • Build scalable APIs and backend services using Node.js and AWS serverless. • Guide AI initiatives including LLM workflows, vector databases, and RAG pipelines. • Establish observability, performance, security, and reliability standards. • Partner with cross-functional teams and oversee vendor delivery. What We’re Looking For: • 10+ years of software engineering experience. • 3–5+ years in technical leadership. Strong expertise in: • Angular (Ionic required at Lead level). • Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs. • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target. • AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM). • CI/CD, Docker, Infrastructure as Code. • Experience integrating Salesforce and Guidewire. • Exposure to AI/LLM tooling, vector databases, and RAG architectures. Environment: • 15 FTEs + 100+ contractors. • Enterprise transformation roadmap (Mobile Refresh, Experience Modernization, AI Member Assistant). • Hybrid model
