System Engineer- (100% Remote Contract - Windows, Active Directory, VMWare, MSSQL) We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Windows Server administration, Active Directory management, VMware virtualization, Microsoft SQL Server support, and SharePoint administration. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, experience with infrastructure upgrades, and a commitment to maintaining secure, highly available systems. Responsibilities • Perform Windows server upgrades, maintenance, and support • Configure Group Policy and Role based access controls in Active Directory • Manage and support VMware infrastructure, including Virtual machine provisioning, host maintenance, and storage management • Perform SQL Server backups, restores, performance monitoring, and routine maintenance • Help to manage Sharepoint sites and administration Apply today if your background includes: • Ability to work a remote long term contract (12 months) • Significant Windows server patching, migration, and upgrade experience • Experience virtualizing environments with VMWare • MSSQL experience • Any Sharepoint and/or Citrix server experience is preferred • Ability to troubleshoot various infrastructure issues and communicate with stakeholders and IT teams and customers
