Senior Network Security Engineer- 100% Remote, Direct Hire The Network Security Engineer is the senior technical authority responsible for engineering projects, troubleshooting, and stabilization of complex enterprise network and security ecosystems within a 24×7×365 environment. This role owns technical execution across Layer 2–7 networking, next- generation security controls, identity-dependent access systems, and infrastructure integrations, supporting highly available, critical platforms and applications. Responsibilities: • Design, support, and troubleshoot enterprise network environments • Implement SDWAN solutions, subnets, IPSEC tunnels, VPN's, etc.- Vendors include Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet • Diagnose and resolve cross-domain connectivity issues spanning network, firewall, virtualization, and operating systems. • Partner with vulnerability, identity, and compliance teams to support secure system operations. • Configure various routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and others • Configure, deploy and troubleshoot various firewalls in both hybrid and cloud infrastructure settings • Help to automate network and security processes in AWS and Azure Apply today if your background includes: • Strong engineering experience across network, security, and infrastructure • Experience troubleshooting various infrastructure and network issues across multiple platforms and tools • Strong Cisco route/switch experience and experience with various routing protocols • Experience leading technical projects and communicating across various lines of business and with external customers • Ability to travel occasionally to customer or corporate sites • Experience with documentation and any exposure to architecture/design is helpful
