The Role We are looking for a dedicated CPA to join our team as an Outsourced Controller, working directly with a diverse portfolio of clients to drive financial efficiencies and contribute to long-term strategic planning. This is an incredible opportunity to grow your expertise by serving as the Controller (or occasionally supporting the CFO function) for multiple organizations across a variety of industries. What You'll Do As an Outsourced Controller, you will be responsible for the full-cycle financial operations and strategic financial guidance for multiple clients: • Initiate and complete the month-end close process for multiple clients. • Prepare and analyze interim financial statements. • Generate and track annual budgets and forecasts. • Communicate findings and financial data to clients and stakeholders in a digestible format. • Provide suggestions for and help implement improvements in various clients’ accounting systems. • Be responsible for various recurring projects for multiple clients. What We’re Looking For The ideal Outsourced Controller candidate is a creative problem-solver with a detail-oriented mindset and exceptional communication skills. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (minimum requirement). • Experience: 3+ years of experience as an accounting professional. • Certification: CPA license is preferred and highly valued. • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting concepts. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other Office 365 apps. • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and present data clearly.
