Two years of customer service experience, healthcare help desk experience is a must, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with PC applications, and preferably healthcare membership and billing experience.

Ideal candidate would have healthcare help desk experience including Group Enrollment Servicing assisting members within company's online portal. Helping members through process. Help desk experience within Healthcare is a MUST. Fully remote, but must reside in Michigan. Billing experience would be a HUGE plus. 1 year contract, potential contract to hire. RESPONSIBILITIES: Engagement Description: • Provide customer service support (Membership and Billing web-based tools) to external Agent and Group customers received from the help desk phone line • Additionally, conduct special assignments as requested, analyze membership reports, and resolve external customer membership issues QUALIFICATIONS: Top 3 Required Skills/Experience: • Two years of customer service experience required; help desk experience preferred • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize; must be able to coordinate multiple activities with varying timelines, and have effective verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills required • Effective analytical (attention to detail), and problem-solving skills to identify, evaluate, and recommend application/system solutions required. Required Skills/Experience: • Self-starter, ability to work independently or in a team environment and consistently produce high quality results required • Ability to make decisions within scope of responsibility where operational guidelines/procedures are non-existent required • Proficient with PC applications and systems (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) required Preferred Skills/Experience: • Working knowledge of Our Client’s self-servicing applications and operating systems considered a plus (eMVP, eBilling, Secured Services, Members Edge, GroupCRM) • Minimum of 1-3 years of healthcare (membership & billing specific) experience preferred Education/Certifications – Include: • High School Graduate or GED equivalent required • Two years college preferred OpTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
