Description Summary The Senior Project Manager will be a high energy, action-oriented, passionate, organized, adaptable and personable leader who will own the project and its results to successfully deliver within scope, timeline, and budget. This role will work with cross-functional collaborative teams and vendors to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to facilities infrastructure including network and cabling installations, consolidations, migrations, and decommissions. Critical thinking, problem solving, and negotiation skills are required as we work to build branch facilities including network, data, and voice necessary to serve and service onsite staff and members. All interactions must be deemed as those that elevate individual and department reputation and credibility. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Leads multiple large complex projects simultaneously; drives information gathering to capture details for scope, requirements, benefits, ROI, and success metrics. • Facilitate meetings and lead collaborative cross-functional teams to drive alignment of process and technology solutions. • Ensure stakeholders have visibility into project progress including milestones, impacts to schedule, scope, and/or cost. • Liaise consultatively with internal and external business stakeholders to provide recommendations to support strategies that achieve business objectives. • Coordinate the creation of test plans including scenarios, account sourcing and staging, system access, resources, and approval. • Ensure administrative tasks are managed in accordance with project governance timelines including documentation for new project requests; project hours tracking and resource allocations; status reports and escalations. • Conduct research studies and analyses, document findings, and prepare recommendations in response to requests for new technologies. • Develop and deliver presentations to consortium executives to request project approval, project priority, solicit funding, and/or provide project/program status updates. • Organize and facilitate vendor discussions for service agreements, contracts, and statements of work reviews. • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, may require evenings and weekends to support off-hours deployments that require testing/validation. • Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience, is preferred. • PMP or PgMP certification preferred. • 6 years of direct work experience construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environments is required. • Project Management Tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com), Visio, PowerPoint with proficiency in building timelines and road maps; Excel with proficiency in advanced formulas for data analysis, ROI calculations, and forecasts; experience using SharePoint Cloud as a document portal. • Experience working across SDLC is preferred Supervisory Responsibilities • None Work Environment The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
