About the Job The Integration Solutions Engineer plays a critical role in connecting Opal to a wide range of enterprise SaaS platforms through reliable integrations. This position blends integration implementation and maintenance with customer engagement during discovery and design. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Opal and enterprise SaaS platforms using iPaaS tools (Workato preferred). Participate in customer-facing discovery and design sessions to assess integration scope, feasibility, and effort. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues using diagnostic tools such as curl, Postman, and API logs. Ensure authentication flows (OAuth, tokens, client IDs/secrets) are implemented and maintained securely. Proactively monitor integration performance and reliability. Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align on customer needs and deliver successful integration outcomes. Document integration designs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for both internal teams and external stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes, standards, and best practices. Skills, Experience, Knowledge Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms (Workato preferred; MuleSoft, Boomi, Tray.io, Zapier, or others acceptable). Strong technical background with experience in APIs, web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS), and data formats (JSON, XML). Solid understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, tokens, client credentials). Proficiency with diagnostic and monitoring tools (e.g., curl, Postman, API logs, or equivalent). Experience with JavaScript and other scripting or light coding (e.g. Python, Ruby, SQL). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively across customer-facing and internal teams.
