Position: Social Media Manager We’re seeking a passionate Social Media Manager who lives and breathes sports and has a knack for creating engaging, viral content. Responsibilities • Develop and execute a dynamic social media strategy to boost brand awareness and user engagement across platforms like X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. • Create compelling, sports-focused content (posts, videos, memes, and more) that resonates with our audience and aligns with Onyx Odds’ brand voice. • Monitor social media trends, sports news, and cultural moments to produce timely and relevant content. • Engage with our community by responding to comments, fostering discussions, and building a loyal fanbase. • Analyze performance metrics to optimize content and report on campaign effectiveness. • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align social media efforts with company goals and promotions. • Stay ahead of emerging platforms and social media tools to keep Onyx Odds at the forefront of the industry. Qualifications • Passionate Sports Fan: Deep knowledge of major sports (e.g., NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, soccer) and the ability to speak the language of fans. • Social Media Expertise: 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, preferably in sports, gaming, or entertainment. • Proven ability to create engaging content tailored to various platforms, with a portfolio showcasing creative campaigns or posts. • Strong understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native platform insights). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for witty, fan-focused content. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Bonus: Experience with video editing, graphic design, or influencer partnerships.
