Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer (NodeJS) for a major healthcare organization. This is a long-term (6+ months) contract opportunity, and the role is fully remote. In this role, you’ll join the engineering team to build the back end of a greenfield customer experience product. You’ll work with the latest cloud technologies, contribute to high-level architecture decisions, and help deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions. There is no application deadline for this role. Senior Software Engineer (NodeJS) Responsibilities: • Build scalable APIs using the latest cloud and development technologies. • Collaborate cross-functionally to make high-level architecture decisions, propose design patterns, and ensure performance and maintenance of digital solutions. • Leverage advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features and ensure code efficiency. Senior Software Engineer (NodeJS) Qualifications: • 5+ years of software development experience, specifically with NodeJS and Typescript. • Experience in automated UI testing using Playwright. • Cloud experience (AWS), with expertise in API gateways, lambda functions, and DynamoDB.
