Company Overview: OnTrac is currently recruiting for a seasonal warehouse role with the possibility of extended employment after Peak based on business requirements. This position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by safely and efficiently handling packages in a fast-paced setting. Role and Responsibilities of Distribution Center Package Handler: As a Distribution Center Package Handler, your main objective will be to support the warehouse's everyday operations by carefully handling, organizing, and loading packages in collaboration with your team. • Regard safety as the chief core value and uphold its importance • Separate items from trailers and organize parcels by zip code groupings • Fill trucks with items for dispatch • Stress the significance of working together as a team to achieve success Required Skills and Experience of Distribution Center Package Handler: • Being steady on your feet while working is a key attribute • The trait of dependability, flexibility, and reliability is essential in building strong relationships • Capability to handle lifting, pushing, and pulling tasks involving objects that weigh between 25 and 35 pounds regularly and frequently • Potential to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally • Capable of moving large items by pushing or pulling packages weighing up to 150 pounds with the aid of a pallet jack or gaylords • Being able to work in environments with varying temperatures, whether hot or cold, is a skill that is required for employees in certain industries • Gloves and proper work boots are advised for protection Compensation and Benefits of Distribution Center Package Handler: • Weekly pay • Part-time schedules available About OnTrac: OnTrac is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
