Job Description: Are you a skilled problem-solver with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our hotel suites provide a top-tier experience for our guests. From HVAC and electrical to plumbing and carpentry, your expertise will help maintain the quality and comfort we’re known for. Perks & Benefits: • Competitive pay and a Comprehensive Benefit Package • Health Saving Account, Flexible Saving Account, Employee Assistance Program • Annual Education Allowance • Generous Referral Program • Fun and collaborative company culture with lots of team-building events • Friends and Family rates for Level Hotels & Furnished Suites, The Opus Hotel and The Emily Hotel What Will You Do? • Schedules, monitors and/or performs preventative maintenance within hotel suites. • Diagnoses problems and repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, interior structural, and appliances. • Maintains painting and structural integrity within guest rooms. • Ensures work orders have been completed in a timely, efficient, thorough, and professional manner. • Provides excellent customer service and promotes a quality living experience for all guests. • Provides emergency maintenance work when required. • Inspects rooms to maintain company quality standards, and alerts Management to items that need to be repaired. • Assists Management with scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors. • Assists Management with obtaining bids from outside contractors, as well as oversees contractor work for completeness. • Assists with purchasing and maintaining maintenance supplies for the job duties of the property. • Accurately prepares and submits property invoices in accordance with established guidelines. • Participates in Company-provided training such as safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention. • Complies with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws. • Perform related duties as assigned, within necessary scope of practice What You Bring: • High school diploma/GED • Recommended completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience • Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance recommended • Four or more years of manufacturing experience; inclusive of pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC and HVAC experience.
