Role Overview: As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing advanced medical and diagnostic equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive timely, effective support, helping to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. What You'll Do: - You will install, maintain, and repair diagnostic and medical equipment at client sites. - You will troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure equipment functionality. - You will conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures. - You will collaborate with the management team to report service activities and suggest improvements. - You will provide training and support to clients on equipment operation and maintenance. - You will manage service documentation and maintain accurate records of all service activities. - You will respond promptly to emergency service requests to minimize client downtime. - You will stay updated with the latest technological advancements in medical equipment. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in the medical or diagnostic equipment sector. - Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic and mechanical systems. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. - Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a field environment. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in biomedical equipment technology or related fields. - Experience with software diagnostics and calibration tools. - Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in the medical device industry. - Multilingual abilities to support diverse client bases.
