Extensive experience in SaaS product management within logistics or transportation, with strong leadership, technical fluency, and stakeholder management skills.
As a Senior Product Manager at OneRail, you will lead a talented team in transforming final-mile logistics and supply chain operations. Your role will involve strategic product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle for our core platform, with a focus on scaling enterprise solutions. This includes gathering and prioritizing complex product and customer requirements, defining long-term product vision, and collaborating closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in product management within logistics or transportation technology companies, ideally involving multi-modal delivery, TMS integrations, or supply chain optimization. This role will report to the Director of Product Development. Responsibilities Define and execute product strategy in partnership with executive leadership, aligning long-term vision, roadmap, and investments with company goals, market trends, and the evolving logistics and transportation landscape. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through launch and post-release optimization, ensuring timely delivery, scalability, and measurable business impact. Develop, maintain, and prioritize a comprehensive product roadmap, balancing customer needs, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and technical feasibility within complex logistics environments. Lead and align cross-functional teams across engineering, design, data, marketing, sales, and operations to deliver enterprise-grade logistics solutions successfully and consistently. Champion deep customer understanding, leveraging user research, direct stakeholder engagement, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to uncover pain points across final-mile, multimodal, and fulfillment workflows. Drive data-informed decision-making, defining KPIs and using analytics to evaluate product performance, identify optimization opportunities, and iterate on capabilities such as delivery automation, routing, and rate optimization. Guide prioritization and execution of features, epics, and user stories based on business value, user impact, technical constraints, and industry-specific considerations such as compliance and real-time optimization. Partner closely with UX/UI and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences tailored to logistics personas including shippers, carriers, drivers, and operations teams. Mentor and develop product managers and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, customer-centric thinking, and product excellence. Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, through presentations, reports, and data-driven insights. Anticipate and mitigate risks, proactively addressing complex, multi-dimensional challenges across supply chain, delivery, and fulfillment orchestration. Support additional strategic initiatives as needed to advance product and organizational objectives. Qualifications: 8+ years of product management experience in SaaS, with proven success delivering and scaling enterprise software in logistics or transportation technology. Demonstrated product leadership, including defining product strategy, owning multi-quarter roadmaps, and executing across the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration. Strong customer and domain empathy, with experience translating complex logistics workflows into intuitive, scalable product solutions for users such as shippers, carriers, drivers, and operations teams. Data-driven decision-making expertise, including defining KPIs, analyzing product performance, and using qualitative and quantitative insights to guide prioritization and measure impact. Technical fluency, enabling deep collaboration with engineering on APIs, integrations, data models, and platform architecture common to logistics and supply chain systems. Experience leading cross-functional teams, partnering effectively with engineering, design, data, marketing, sales, and operations to deliver enterprise-grade products. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate product vision, tradeoffs, and outcomes to audiences ranging from engineers to executive leadership. Proficiency in agile product development, including backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritization frameworks such as RICE, Kano, or similar approaches. Ownership mindset and accountability, with a track record of balancing user experience, revenue growth, and operational scalability in fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications: Deep domain experience in logistics and supply chain SaaS, including final-mile delivery, last-mile orchestration, TMS/WMS/OMS platforms, e-commerce fulfillment, or multi-modal transportation networks. Experience scaling high-growth or global B2B enterprise platforms, including inbound and outbound orchestration, 3PL ecosystems, or real-time visibility solutions. Background building or supporting AI-driven optimization, automation, or data-intensive platforms, such as routing, rate shopping, or predictive delivery systems. Advanced proficiency with product, analytics, and operational tools, including SQL, Amplitude, Power BI, Mixpanel, Tableau, Figma, Jira/Confluence, and logistics systems such as TMS, WMS, OMS, or ERP. Hands-on experience with enterprise integrations and infrastructure, including EDI, API-based carrier connectivity, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with modern product and delivery frameworks, including Scaled Agile (SAFe), Lean Startup, OKRs, and Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD). Experience building and mentoring product teams in startup or high-growth environments and influencing senior or executive stakeholders through data-backed strategy.
