Device Management & Endpoint Security • Own MDM/endpoint management tooling (e.g., Intune / Endpoint Manager) and policies. • Standardize device images, patching, security baselines, and compliance policies. • Monitor and respond to endpoint security alerts in coordination with security stakeholders. Operations, Support & Tooling • Help select, configure, and maintain the ITSM/ticketing platform. • Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and requests. • Drive automation and scripting to reduce manual work and improve consistency. Team Leadership & Collaboration • Provide technical mentorship and day-to-day direction to IT System Administrators. • Work closely with the Director of IT and business stakeholders to understand needs and priorities. • Contribute to IT standards, runbooks, and documentation. Requirements Experience • 5–7+ years in IT engineering / system administration roles, with 1–2+ years in a senior or lead capacity. • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender). • Practical experience with MDM/endpoint management (Intune / Endpoint Manager or similar). • Background managing Windows and macOS endpoints in a corporate environment. • Experience in a high-growth or multi-site company is a plus. Technical Skills • Solid understanding of identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID, SSO, MFA). • Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls). • Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell preferred). • Familiarity with IT security best practices across endpoints, email, and SaaS. Soft Skills • Comfortable owning complex technical problems end-to-end. • Strong communicator who can explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders. • Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
