In partnership with the Regional Group Office sales teams, the Account Manager is responsible for maximizing profitability by focusing efforts on retaining and growing the in-force book of business. This role leads activities aimed at deepening relationships with customers and brokers in order to yield improved persistency, expansion of new products, and engagement of re-enrollment programs. What You Will Do • Proactively work with managers and reps to plan for broker and client relationship building and engagement opportunities on an ongoing basis. • Plan for upcoming renewals, adding lines of coverage and re-enrollment strategies to attain divisional, Regional Group Office, and individual objectives. • Serve as the account management contact after business is implemented for brokers and policyholders • Participate in the new business implementation process • Assist managers and reps on large case presentations, including new opportunities and broker relationship building • Schedule touchpoints with strategic home office personnel in operations and underwriting to help identify patterns, areas for improvement, and to find ways to provide better experiences for our brokers and their clients • Complete quarterly reviews with team to re-confirm top 10 broker partners/targets and clients. • Conduct on-site visits to our top broker partners and clients based on proactive service model delivery timing. What You Will Need • Bachelors degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background • Life and Health license required • 2 years of service related or sales experience in Employee Benefits • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Salary Band: 05B This selected candidate will be expected to work remote. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
