Candidates should have an associate degree or higher in a related field and at least 1 year of experience with relational database management systems. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential for interfacing with technical and business teams.
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for investigating, resolving, and escalating issues within our system applications. The specialist may perform data corrections when applicable or escalate code defects to leadership. The Support specialist is also responsible for identifying trends and patterns within support tickets to escalate larger underlying issues to leadership. The role also requires the Systems Support Specialist to continue to develop and utilize his/her technical skills to support the enterprise systems. Your Impact: Work within a production support ticketing system to help resolve issues and support data requests. Query and manipulate data using TSQL. Apply business and technical logic when troubleshooting issues. Learn how to use the enterprise systems and understand the business workflows. Identify and report on trends when working support issues. Read and understand C# and TSQL code. Suggest changes or improvements within the systems area to Enterprise Systems Leadership Effectively communicate technical concepts. Ability to understand technical documentation. Ability to prioritize work based on direction from leadership. Successful Candidates Will Have: Associates degree or higher in computer science, business or related field; 1+ years of relational database management systems experience. Strong interpersonal skill with a proven ability to interface with both technical and business team members at all levels within an organization. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is up to $25.00 per hour plus annual discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
