Lead the Way to Exceptional Oncology Care: Join Us as a Regional Office Manager! UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Office Manager to oversee the administrative operations of our network of medical oncology offices. This is a key leadership role where you'll help drive excellence in patient care by ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. We're looking for someone who is passionate about projects, especially those focused on standardization across our northern Hillman Cancer Center practices. Your work will directly support initiatives that improve consistency, quality, and efficiency across multiple sites. This full-time, daylight position will be based in our Erie office and support the Seneca, Greenville, Farrell, New Castle, and Chautauqua, NY locations. Up to 20% travel to these offices will be required. Some remote or work-from-home flexibility available once training is complete. Responsibilities: • Order all supplies and services as needed for this practice. Including supplies utilized in the clinical area and for coordinating the maintenance of the equipment. • Provide and coordinate maintenance on all equipment used by the clinical staff of the department. • Anticipate scheduling issues when members of the staff are not scheduled. • Review patient schedules routinely to troubleshoot for overbooked clinics, as well as staffing in respective areas of the department. • Ensure that the clinical environment is patient friendly, appropriate for staff and physicians to work and be productive by working closely with the staff and physicians responding to issues and problem-solving. • Be cognizant of and apply relative administrative, Cancer Center, and departmental policies and procedures for the protection of the patients, staff and department. • Coordinate and staff laser templates, ensuring that patients are properly scheduled. • Maintain correspondence with the Practice Manager concerning personnel, human resource, supplies, and patient issues. • Develop and maintain a patient-centric culture, centered around patient arrival and follow up activities in line with the consumerism initiatives, if applicable. • Monitor and meet practice specific benchmarks inclusive of point of service and scheduling (inclusive of template management for timely patient access), if applicable. • Cover all positions in the region on site or remotely as needed with increases in volume, support needed due to vacancies, consistent backup for auth related volumes, etc. 1. Office Coordinator • Act as a support to the Regional Manager and Practice Manager in all locations: Assist with training new & existing staff (achieve standardization across centers). Introduce/train process changes, systems updates, etc. Support manual updates as super user & also train/audit user/site compliance.
