Job Details Job Location: Overland Park, KS Salary Range: $17.00 - $29.00 Description Job Overview: The Production Operator is responsible for converting printed sheets to myriad finished goods in a safe and efficient manner as well as accurately staging those goods for shipment. Assistance in other areas of production will also be required as workload, skills and labor needs dictate. Job Function: • Accurately interpret work order paperwork • Operate production equipment safely and produce goods within ODT quality standards • Perform product validation and quality screening on all products • Perform basic handwork and packaging tasks as needed Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: • Extensive experience with a variety of print production equipment • Understanding of basic print quality • Ability to schedule time effectively and to ‘go where the work is’ • Work effectively in a process-based environment and assist management in improving those procedures • Team Player • Machine operation knowledge a plus, but must possess a mechanical aptitude • Communication: English speaking, reading, and writing required for safe and efficient operations. Environment: Must be able to stand for long periods of time; strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; in the case of materials weighing more than 50 pounds, must possess the ability to break down into manageable pieces or seek assistance from other employees; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person.
