About the role On Belay is seeking a motivated Quality Improvement & Data Integration Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) Accountable Care Organization (ACO) practices through performance improvement initiatives and structured data optimization. This dual-focused position combines expertise in quality metrics, data analysis, and health IT to improve clinical documentation, guide value-based care initiatives, and enhance quality reporting across multiple EHR platforms. The ideal candidate is both a strategic quality advisor and a technical resource for structured data capture, QRDA1 file generation, and CMS reporting. What you'll do Serve as a strategic partner to MSSP ACO practices to improve performance on quality metrics and meet CMS program requirements. Attend and facilitate monthly meetings with practices to review dashboards, performance metrics, and structured data completeness. Analyze performance and clinical documentation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable recommendations and training to practices to optimize EHR documentation, structured data capture, and workflow adherence. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve structured mapping issues in EHR systems. Assist practices in the generation, validation, and submission of QRDA1 files for quality reporting. Monitor progress on quality measures and support practices in implementing corrective actions when needed. Maintain accurate records of practice interactions, improvement plans, and performance trends. Any other related duties assigned at manager’s discretion Qualifications Strong understanding of MSSP ACO program, CMS quality measures, and value-based care principles. 5+ years of experience in quality improvement, population health, health IT, or clinical informatics. Hands-on experience with multiple EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Athenahealth). Expertise in structured data documentation, QRDA1 file generation, and data validation. Familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare performance metrics, and documentation best practices. Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies. Background in clinical informatics, health IT, or healthcare quality improvement. Experience delivering education or training to healthcare providers and staff on documentation practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
