Position Summary The Supply Chain Director provides leadership across Omron Healthcare’s end-to-end operations, supply chain, and customer fulfillment ecosystem. This role is accountable for strategic planning, execution, and optimization of forecasting, S&OP, logistics, inventory, customer operations, and cross-functional alignment to ensure that OMRON is positioned for sustainable growth, scalability, and operational excellence. As a senior leader, this role serves as a primary liaison between OMRON U.S. and OMRON Headquarters in Japan, ensuring alignment on strategy, forecasting, performance metrics, and operational priorities. In addition, this role will lead interaction with OMRON logistics partners and Manufacturing partners to ensure a smooth and timely transfer of inventory. The Director leads a large, multi-layered team and is responsible for developing talent, building succession depth, and embedding disciplined planning processes, including a robust S&OP framework with 6–9 month forward-looking forecasting. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Leadership * Own and lead OHI’s end-to-end operations and supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, global Omron priorities, and long-term business plans. * Provide executive-level leadership across forecasting, S&OP, logistics, inventory management, customer operations, and supply planning. * Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on operational risks, trade-offs, capacity planning, and scalability decisions. * Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives requiring coordination across Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Product, International Business Unit, and Omron Headquarters. S&OP & Forecasting Excellence * Own and govern the S&OP process, ensuring disciplined execution, strong cross-functional participation, and executive-ready outputs. * Drive demand and supply planning with a 6–9 month horizon, balancing growth ambitions with operational constraints. * Ensure forecasts incorporate: * Sales and broker inputs * Marketing initiatives and promotions * Product launches and lifecycle changes * Inventory and capacity considerations * Continuously improve forecast accuracy through data, analytics, and scenario planning. Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration * Act as a central liaison across departments, ensuring seamless communication and decision-making between Operations, Commercial, Finance, IT, Product, and Leadership. * Serve as Omron Healthcare's primary operational interface with global Headquarters, aligning on: * Forecasts and business outlooks * Supply strategies and constraints * Performance reporting and KPIs * Global initiatives and transformations * Translate global direction into actionable local execution while elevating local insights back to headquarters. Performance Management & Reporting * Establish and own operational KPIs, including forecast accuracy, customer relationships, service levels, inventory health, logistics cost, and customer fulfillment metrics. * Deliver executive-level reporting and insights to leadership with clear recommendations and forward-looking implications. * Partner with Finance to support budget cycles, quarterly outlooks, and long-range planning. Customer Operations & Compliance * Oversee customer operations to ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment and high service standards. * Ensure compliance with, audit, regulatory, and operational governance requirements, including documentation, controls, and checks and balances. * Maintain strong relationships with 3PLs, brokers, and external partners to drive performance and accountability. Team Leadership & Talent Development * Lead, mentor, and develop a large organization of department employees. * Build a high-performing leadership bench with clear accountability, role clarity, and succession planning. * Champion employee development, coaching, and engagement, ensuring teams are equipped to operate effectively in a changing business model. * Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and ownership across the organization. Transformation, Systems & Process Innovation * Lead operational transformation initiatives, including automation, systems integration, and process redesign. * Partner with IT and global stakeholders to leverage advanced planning tools, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. * Ensure operational systems (ERP, planning tools, reporting platforms) are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business needs. Education & Experience Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field required * MBA or Master’s degree preferred * APICS, Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred Experience: * 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain * 7+ years in senior leadership roles with large, multi-level teams * Proven ownership of S&OP, forecasting, and integrated planning * Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations * Background in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries * ERP systems experience with JD Edwards, Anaplan preferred * Demonstrated success leading large-scale change, transformation, and growth Leadership Competencies * Executive presence and strong influencing skills * Exceptional communication across all levels of the organization * Strategic thinker with strong operational execution discipline * Ability to lead through ambiguity and change * Strong people leader with a development-focused mindset QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - The requirements listed below are representative of the physical and environmental factors the job holder will encounter.
